Professional and experienced UK process agent from a leading London firm

We provide a professional process agent service (sometimes called an agent for the service of process) in England and Wales. We reduce the burden on you by providing a clear, professional and reliable service that fits in with your needs.

We know that when you are finalising an agreement, you have many competing interests for your time. Our user friendly online form will take you through the necessary information and will confirm the total fees for the appointment prior to submission. Payment can be made online by credit/debit card, or payment can be made by bank transfer following submission.

We will review the information and confirm that the appointment can proceed. If requested, we will issue a letter of appointment to the other parties confirming the appointment. Make sure you choose an agent provider you can trust and who has been there before.

We don’t charge fees based on the number of contracts involved in a transaction, but merely look at the whole transaction as one event. As long as the contracts form one deal, we will charge the same fee.

Our process agents have been providing address services for over 80 years and have the experience and professionalism that you can rely on.

Our fees are clear, fixed and upfront. We charge a single fee to act as a process agent so you know how much the service will cost.

Our staff includes lawyers who have drafted agent clauses themselves. If you would like advice about the practicalities of the arrangement and how this should be reflected, please get in touch.

We can often finalise and complete the appointment within 4 working hours. We know you have more pressing matters and a process agent is often left to the end so time is critical. Our engagement is a simple and straightforward arrangement which can be largely carried out online.

Set Up fee£80
Annual fee£80

We provide a simple and straightforward arrangement which ensures that you know how much you will pay whilst protecting your interests. For example, to appoint a process agent for five years would cost £480.

Multiple Group Companies

Sometimes in Financing arrangements, other group companies are required to act as guarantors or similar and will also need a Process Agent appointed. Where the contact details are the same, we offer a 50% discount for group companies.

Six key tips to appointing a UK process agent provider

Set out below are six of the most important things you can do to make sure that the appointment process goes as smoothly as possible. If you follow these tips then you should have very few issues in finalising your appointment.

1. Read our guide

If you’re not sure what a process agent is or what they do, then you can find out by reading our process agent guide.

2. Get the contract right

Ensure that, once we are appointed, the right details appear in your contract. The full details of the official process agent are: Elemental Process Agent Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 01745936 and whose registered office is at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX.

3. Leave plenty of time

Although we can work very quickly and often manage to finalise an appointment within 24 hours, there is no reason to leave the appointment to the last minute. Remember that you will need to provide all the information in our appointment form and also make payment before the appointment can be finalised. The earlier this can be done, the easier everything will be.

4. Know the duration of the appointment

We are generally appointed for the duration of the contract as you don’t know when you are likely to need an agent. It is therefore vital that you understand how long the contract is likely to last for or how long you are potentially going to be sued for so that we are appointed for the entire time.

5. Have all the relevant details

To make sure that we can provide the level of service you expect, there is a certain amount of information we need from you including the details of the appointor, the instructing party and the contact for service (as applicable). We will also need details of the contracts we are being appointed in respect of, whether an appointment letter is required and how payment will take place. It is advisable to have all of this information to hand before completing the appointment form to save you time and hassle.

6. Update any contact details

Although this isn’t part of the appointment process, it is too important to leave out. If we accept service of proceedings, we will need to be able to get in touch with you. Therefore it is critical that you update us with any changes to your contact details so there is no delay in getting in touch with you regarding our process agent service.

We know you are busy, so we have made our appointment process as clear and simple as possible. To begin the process simply complete our online form.
