Elemental wins CGI UK and Ireland Service Provider of the Year

Elemental wins CGI UK and Ireland Service Provider of the Year

Elemental picked up the award for “service provider of the year” at the annual Chartered Governance Institute Awards last week. The award recognises those companies that provide company secretarial or governance services to other organisations, and who has gone significantly beyond basic service levels.

The CGI judging panel said: “Our winner, Elemental, was described as “living and breathing” the new environment created as a result of the pandemic. They had recognised that new ways of hybrid working were developing and were, the judges felt, more obviously set up to operate in the digital space. They used that agility and understanding to drive significant changes to the services they offered their clients, and make a demonstrable impact. That impact was attested to by strong client testimonials.”

One supporting testimonial came from Alfredo Apéstegui, Manager & Chief Legal Officer, Mesoamerica (a sister company of Bain & Company). He said “we have been working with Elemental CoSec for the past 5 years, and we’ve had a fantastic experience. Nick and his team are highly professional and responsive, and they are a key partner to our business in the UK. We highly recommend working with them.”

Nick Lindsay, founder and director of corporate services and governance said: “We were delighted to win this award and for the recognition, the firm received for being a leader in helping clients adapt to new ways of working with digital solutions. Thank you to all of our clients for the trust they have put in us over the years and for the Elemental team that support them day in, day out”.

Other winners on the night included: AstraZeneca plc, Unilever plc, Vodafone Group plc, Rolls Royce, Marks and Spencer and the law firm CMS.
